FAQs

how do i get started?

Fill out the form in the “Contact” tab. We’ll then reach out to you within 24 hours to schedule your complimentary 15-minute consultation.

what are your fees?

The costs for my services are in line with those of other psychologists practicing in the New York City area. I will go over the fees during the initial 15-minute consultation and before scheduling your first therapy session.

do you take insurance?

At this moment, I am an out-of-network provider. However, I highly recommend contacting your insurance plan to inquire about potential reimbursement options for out-of-network services. Should your plan offer such coverage, I will always provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. I encourage you to communicate directly with your insurance plan to understand their specific policies, and I am here to assist you in navigating this process.

how often will we meet?

Initially we will meet weekly at a designated day and time that is reserved just for you. As treatment progresses, we can evaluate whether a biweekly or monthly slot works best.

what can I expect?

Complimentary consultation: At Bloom, we believe successful therapy depends on the relationship we build together, rather than solely on the techniques employed. Therefore, we provide a complimentary 15-minute consultation call where we can get to know one another and delve into your objectives. During this conversation, I'll outline how my approach aligns with your goals, and together we can assess whether we're a suitable match. Should we decide to collaborate, we'll arrange an intake session followed by subsequent appointments.

Intake paperwork: This intake paperwork is crafted with the dual purpose of helping you reflect on your past experiences and hopes for the future, while also allowing me to get to know you better. You will also sign HIPAA documentation.

Follow up sessions: Sessions are 45-minutes and follow a personalized treatment plan that incorporates your goals and evidence-based techniques.
