In this blog post, we'll explore four key teachings from yoga—Karuna (compassion), Santosha (contentment), Pranayama (breath control), and Svadhyaya (self-study)—and how they can help you navigate this special time in your life.

Karuna: Embracing Compassion

What is Karuna?
Karuna means compassion, and in the context of yoga philosophy, it encourages us to be kind and understanding towards ourselves and others.

Applying Karuna in Pregnancy:
